Slaughter Cattle:

As of 3:00 PM Thursday, negotiated cash trading in the Southern Plains has been mostly inactive on very light demand. Not enough purchases for a market trend. The last reported market was on Wednesday at 108.00. In Nebraska, negotiated cash trading and demand have been moderate. Live purchases have moved steady to 1.00 higher at 108.00 compared to Wednesday. A few dressed purchases have moved at 168.00, however not enough for a full market trend. The last reported dressed market was on Wednesday at 169.00. In the Western Cornbelt, negotiated cash trading has been limited on light to moderate demand, however not enough purchases for a full market trend. The last reported live market was on Wednesday from 107.00-108.00 and the last reported dressed market was last week at 169.00.
