Slaughter Cattle:

As of 3:00 PM Friday in the Southern Plains and Nebraska, negotiated cash trading has been mostly inactive on light demand. Not enough purchases for a market trend in these regions. In the Southern Plains Wednesday was the last reported market with live purchases at 107.00. In Nebraska the last reported market was on Thursday with live and dressed purchases at 107.00 and 167.00, respectively. So far for Friday in the Western Cornbelt negotiated cash trading has been limited on light to moderate demand. A few live purchases moved at 106.00. However, not enough for a full market trend. Thursday was the last reported market with live and dressed purchases trading from 105.00-106.00 and 165.00-167.00, respectively.
