Slaughter Cattle:

As of 3:00 PM Friday in Kansas, Nebraska and Western Cornbelt, negotiated cash trading has been limited on light demand. In Nebraska a few dressed purchases traded at 176.00 steady with the last reported market on Thursday. On Thursday live purchases traded from 110.00-111.00. In the Western Cornbelt and Kansas not enough purchases for a market trend. Thus far for Friday in the Texas Panhandle and Colorado negotiated cash trading was at a standstill. Thursday was the last fully reported market in these regions. In the Southern Plains and Colorado live purchases traded at 112.00. In the Western Cornbelt live and dressed purchases traded at 110.00 and 175.00-177.00, respectively.
