Slaughter Cattle:

As of 3:00 PM Wednesday in the Southern Plains, negotiated cash trading has been slow on light demand. In the Texas Panhandle, compared to last week, live purchases traded steady to 1.50 higher mostly at 119.00. In Kansas a few live purchases traded at 120.00. However, not enough for a full market trend. Last week live purchases traded at 119.00. So far for Wednesday in Nebraska negotiated cash trading has been limited on light demand. A few live purchases traded at 120.00, not enough for a full market trend. Last week live traded at 118.00. Dressed purchases traded steady with Tuesday at 191.00. Thus far for Wednesday in Colorado and Western Cornbelt negotiated cash trading has been mostly inactive with light demand. Not enough purchases in these regions for a market trend. In the Western Cornbelt, on Tuesday, live purchases traded from 118.00-120.00, and last week dressed purchases traded from 187.00-190.00. In Colorado for two weeks ago live purchases traded from 119.00-120.00.
