Slaughter Cattle:

As of 3:00 PM Thursday in Kansas, Nebraska and Western Cornbelt, negotiated cash trading has been limited with light demand. In Kansas a few live purchases traded at 119.00, not enough for a full market trend. The last reported market was on Wednesday with live from 119.00-120.00. In Nebraska live purchases traded steady at 120.00, compared to the last market on Wednesday. Not enough dressed purchases for a market trend, the last reported dressed market was on Wednesday at 191.00. In the Western Cornbelt not enough purchases in any price range for a market trend. The last reported live purchase market was on Tuesday from 118.00-120.00 and dressed purchases, last week, traded from 187.00-190.00. Thus far for Thursday in the Texas Panhandle and Colorado negotiated cash trading has been mostly inactive with very light demand. Not enough purchases for a market trend. In the Texas Panhandle on Wednesday live purchases traded from 119.00-119.50. In Colorado for two weeks ago live purchases traded from 19.00-120.00.
