Slaughter Cattle:

As of 3:00 PM Friday, negotiated cash trading in the Northern Plains and Western Cornbelt has been mostly inactive on light demand. Not enough purchases in these regions for a market trend. In Nebraska live purchases traded at 120.00 on Thursday and dressed purchases traded at 191.00 on Wednesday. In the Western Cornbelt live purchases traded from 118.00120.00 on Tuesday and dressed purchases traded from 187.00-190.00 last week. In Colorado the last reported market was two weeks ago with live purchases from 119.00-120.00. So far for Friday in the Southern Plains negotiated cash trading has been at a standstill. In the Texas Panhandle on Wednesday live purchases traded from 119.00-119.50. In Kansas on Wednesday with live purchases trading from 119.00-120.00.
