Slaughter Cattle:

As of 3:00 PM Monday in Kansas and Western Cornbelt, negotiated cash trading has been mostly inactive with very light demand. Not enough purchases in these regions for a market trend. In the Texas Panhandle and Northern Plains negotiated cash trading has been at a standstill. Last week in the Texas Panhandle live purchases traded from 119.00-119.50. In Kansas last week live purchases traded from 119.00-120.00. For the prior week in Nebraska live and dressed purchases from 120.00-121.00 and at 191.00, respectively. Last week in Colorado live purchases traded at 120.00. For the previous week in the Western Cornbelt live and dressed purchases traded at mostly 120.00 and from 188.00-191.00, respectively.
