Slaughter Cattle:

As of 3:00 PM Wednesday, in Kansas, Nebraska and Western Cornbelt negotiated cash trading has been slow on light to moderate demand. In Kansas compared to the last reported market on Tuesday live purchases traded steady at 119.00. In Nebraska compared to the last reported live purchase market on Tuesday live traded steady at 120.00. A few dressed purchases traded at 191.00, not enough for a full market trend. The last dressed market was on Tuesday with trades from 190.00-191.00. In the Western Cornbelt a few dressed purchases traded at 191.00, not enough for a full market trend. For the previous week in the Western Cornbelt live and dressed purchases traded at mostly 120.00 and from 188.00-191.00, respectively. Thus far for Wednesday in the Texas Panhandle and Colorado negotiated cash trading has been mostly inactive on very light demand. Not enough purchases for a market trend. In the Texas Panhandle the last reported market was on Tuesday with live purchases from 119.00-120.00. Last week in Colorado live purchases traded at 120.00.
