Slaughter Cattle:

As of 3:00 PM Thursday in the Southern Plains, Nebraska, and Western Cornbelt, negotiated cash trading has been mostly inactive on very light demand. Not enough purchases in any region for a market trend. Wednesday was the last reported markets in these regions. In the Texas Panhandle live purchases traded from 116.00-120.00. In Kansas live purchases traded from 119.00-120.00. In Nebraska live and dressed purchases traded at 120.00 and 191.00, respectively. In the Western Cornbelt live and dressed purchases traded at 120.00 and from 189.00-191.00, respectively. So far for Thursday in Colorado negotiated cash trading has been at a standstill. Last week live and dressed purchases traded at 120.00 and 191.00, respectively, on a very light test.
