USDA reported at 3:00 PM on Wednesday that negotiated cash trade in the Southern Plains and Nebraska has been at a standstill. Last week in the Southern Plains live FOB purchases traded at 186.00. Last week in Nebraska live purchases traded at 187.00 while dressed purchases traded at 296.00. In the Western Cornbelt negotiated cash trade has been slow on light demand. There have been a few live FOB purchases at 187.00, however not enough purchases for a market trend. Last week in the Western Cornbelt live FOB purchases traded from 187.00-188.00, while dressed purchases at 296.00.
