Slaughter Cattle:

As of 3:00 PM Thursday, negotiated cash trading and demand have been moderate in the Southern Plains and Nebraska. In the Southern Plains, compared to the last market on Wednesday, live cash trades moved steady at 113.00. In Nebraska, compared to last week, the bulk of live cash trades moved 2.00 lower at 113.00. A few dressed cash trades moved at 182.00. However, not enough trades for a full market trend. Last week dressed cash trades moved from 185.00-187.00. Thus far for Thursday in the Western Cornbelt trading has been slow on moderate demand. A few live and dressed trades ranged from 113.00 to 114.00 and 180.00 to 182.00, respectively. However, not enough trades for a full market trend. For the prior week live cash trades moved from 112.00-117.00 and dressed cash trades moved from 180.00-187.00.
