Slaughter Cattle:

As of 3:00 PM Thursday in the Texas Panhandle, negotiated cash trading has been slow on light demand. Compared to last week live purchases traded steady at 120.00. In Kansas, Nebraska and Western Cornbelt negotiated cash trading has been slow with moderate demand. In Kansas, when compared to last week, live purchases traded steady to 1.00 higher from 120.00-121.00. In Nebraska, when compared to the prior week, live purchases traded steady to 3.00 higher from 123.00-126.00 and dressed purchases traded 1.00 higher at 196.00. In the Western Cornbelt, when compared to the previous week, dressed purchases traded steady to 1.00 higher at 196.00. Not enough live purchases for a market trend. Last week live purchases traded from 123.00-125.00. So far for Thursday in Colorado negotiated cash trading has been inactive on very light demand. Not enough purchases for a market trend.  Last week live purchases traded from 120.00-123.00.
