Slaughter Cattle:

As of 3:00 PM, USDA reported Thursday in the Southern Plains negotiated cash trading has been limited on light demand. Thus far for Thursday in Nebraska and Western Cornbelt negotiated cash trading has been slow with moderate demand. Not enough purchases for a full market trend in any region. Wednesday was the last reported market in these regions. In the Texas Panhandle live purchases traded at 120.00. In Kansas live purchases traded from 119.00-120.00. In Nebraska live and dressed purchases trading from 123.00-125.00 and from 198.00-202.00, respectively. In the Western Cornbelt live and dressed purchases traded from 124.00-125.00 and from 196.00-202.00, respectively.
