Slaughter Cattle:

As of 3:00 PM Thursday in Nebraska and Western Cornbelt, negotiated cash trading has been limited on light demand. In Nebraska a few live and dressed purchases traded at 140.00 and 224.00, respectively. However not enough for a full market trend. Wednesday was the last reported market with live purchases at 140.00 and dressed purchases from 224.00-225.00. In the Western Cornbelt a few live and dressed purchases traded at 143.00 and 224.00, respectively. However, not enough of for a full market trend. Wednesday was the last reported market with live purchases at 142.00 and dressed purchases at 225.00. Thus far for Thursday in the Southern Plains negotiated cash trading has been mostly inactive on light demand. Not enough purchases for a market trend. Wednesday was the last reported market with live purchases at 140.00.
