Slaughter Cattle:

As of 3:00 PM Thursday in Nebraska and Western Cornbelt, negotiated cash trading has been limited on light demand. Not enough purchases for a market trend. Wednesday was the last reported market in these regions. In Nebraska live purchases traded from 142.00-143.00 and dressed purchases from 225.00-226.00. In the Western Cornbelt live purchases traded from 142.00-143.00 and dressed, on a light test, at 225.00. Thus far for Thursday in the Southern Plains and Colorado negotiated cash trading has been mostly inactive on very light demand. Not enough purchases for a market trend. Wednesday was the last reported market in the Texas Panhandle and Colorado with live purchases at 136.00 and 141.00, respectively. Last week in Kansas live purchases traded at 135.00.
