Tuesday, May 28, 2024, Today, Texas Agriculture Commissioner Sid Miller announced his request for the Texas Department of Agriculture (TDA) to operate the United States Department of Agriculture’s (USDA) Disaster Household Distribution (DHD) program was approved. COMMISSIONER MILLER ANNOUNCES 2024 RODEO SEASON ENDS WITH REMARKABLE SUCCESS FOR GO TEXAN PARTNERS
Thursday, May 16, 2024, Today, Texas Agriculture Commissioner Sid Miller proudly announced the 2024 rodeo season marked an outstanding triumph for GO TEXAN partners. Sales across all six events totaled nearly half a million dollars, offering crucial support to small Texas-based businesses. Partners showcased their Texas-made products from January to May at kiosks and GO TEXAN Pavilions in Fort Worth, San Antonio, Houston, the Rio Grande Valley, Austin, and San Angelo. Particularly noteworthy was the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo General Store, which saw remarkable profits of $208,579 for its 48 Partners.  [More]
