Calibrate Weighing and Measuring Standards 

The metrology labs perform a wide variety of measurements while providing traceability.  Calibrations range from 6000 pounds to one micropound and 5000 gallons to 5 gallons.  All calibrations are documented and traceable to the International Systems of Units (SI) through the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST).  Weights and measures standards have a direct impact on the accuracy of weighing and measuring devices and commodities.  Licensed service companies, device manufacturers, private laboratories, etc. are provided with accurately calibrated standards equivalent to those used by the Weights and Measures Inspectors to conduct regulatory inspections.
