Slaughter Cattle:

As of 3:00 PM Thursday, negotiated cash trading has been at a standstill in Kansas. In Nebraska and the Western Cornbelt negotiated cash trading has been limited on very light demand. In the Western Cornbelt a very few live cash trades moved at 125.00. However, not enough trades for a market trend in either region. Last week in Kansas and Nebraska live cash trades moved at 122.00 and in Nebraska dressed trades moved mostly at 195.00. For the prior week in the Western Cornbelt live cash trades moved from 121.00-123.00 and dressed cash trades moved mostly at 195.00.
