Slaughter Cattle:

As of 3:00 PM Wednesday, negotiated trade and demand was light to moderate in the Southern Plains. Compared to last week, early live purchases traded steady to 5.00 higher ranging from 95.00-110.00, bulk at 110.00. Trade was light on moderate demand in Nebraska and the Western Cornbelt. In Nebraska live purchases traded steady compared to Tuesday at 95.00. Dressed purchases mostly steady compare to Tuesday ranging from 145.00-180.00, bulk at 150.00. In the Western Cornbelt, compared to Tuesday, dressed purchases traded steady to 10.00 higher, ranging from 145.00-180.00, bulk at 180.00. Last week live purchases in the Western Cornbelt traded from 93.00-100.00.
