Slaughter Cattle:

As of 3:00 PM Tuesday, in Kansas, Nebraska and Western Cornbelt negotiated cash trading has been limited on light demand. In Kansas a few early live trades moved at 110.00. In the Western Cornbelt a few early dressed trades moved at 185.00. However, not enough trades in either region for a full market trend. The latest established market in any region was last week with live purchases in the Southern Plains from 95.00 to 115.00. For the prior week in Nebraska live and dressed purchases trade mostly at 95.00 and 150.00, respectively. For the previous week in the Western Cornbelt live purchases traded mostly at 103.00 with dressed purchases mostly from 170.00-180.00.
