Commissioner Miller Seeks Applicants for Annual Family Land Heritage Program
Tuesday, March 26, 2019, AUSTIN – Today, Texas Agriculture Commissioner Sid Miller invited Texas farmers and ranchers to apply for the Texas Department of Agriculture’s Family Land Heritage program, which since 1974 has paid tribute to families who have kept their land in continuous agricultural production for at least 100 years.

Media Advisory: Texas Agriculture Commissioner Sid Miller Will Be Sworn-In For 2nd Term At Pharr International Bridge To Highlight Texas Border
Wednesday, January 9, 2019, AUSTIN — Texas Agriculture Commissioner Sid Miller has announced he will be sworn-in for his second term in office this Monday, Jan. 14. The ceremony will take place in Pharr, Texas at the Pharr International Bridge along the Texas-Mexico border. Texas Supreme Court Justice Eva Guzman will conduct the oath of office. Commissioner Miller will be joined by dignitaries and elected officials, as well as officials from the neighboring Mexican state of Tamaulipas, including Governor Francisco Javier Cabeza de Vaca.
