Commissioner Sid Miller Hails Win for Farmers' Right to Repair
Thursday, February 5, 2026, This EPA clarification is a hard-fought victory for Texas farmers and ranchers nationwide. By clarifying that the Clean Air Act backs, not blocks, the right to self-repair farm equipment, the agency has smashed a massive barrier that has crippled our producers for too long. I've battled for Right to Repair for years, as bogus restrictions shackled farmers to pricey, manufacturer-monopolized fixes. This guidance makes it crystal clear: no more exclusive dealer mandates. The law won't stand in the way of faster, less expensive repairs.  [More]

Texas Agriculture Commissioner Sid Miller Demands Country-of-Origin Labeling for Meat Products
Wednesday, February 4, 2026, With foreign imports and Bill Gates-backed lab-grown meat surging, Americans deserve transparency: Know exactly where your beef comes from, right down to the U.S. state it was raised in. Support our ranchers, not overseas profits. This federal rule is essential to rebuild public trust and make 'Made in USA' mean something real. We've slammed shut the loophole letting foreign beef masquerade as American, now let's finish the job. Label every cut as the law demands, so families can trust their plates. This is America First in bold action.  [More]

Commissioner Sid Miller Calls for Urgent Action to Bolster American-Owned Meatpacking
Wednesday, February 4, 2026, Foreign meatpacking giants are crushing America’s ranchers and consumers under their boots. These foreign corporations dominate U.S. beef processing, manipulating prices, stifling competition, and robbing hardworking ranchers of their rightful earnings. This isn’t a free market; it’s an outright racket. American meatpackers, both large and small, have been forced to shutter operations, with hundreds of other smaller packers all but disappearing.  [More]

Commissioner Miller Responds to the USDA Report of New World Screwworm Case in Florida
Tuesday, February 3, 2026, I want to set the record straight on the recent New World screwworm detection in Florida. This detection did not constitute evidence of a U.S. outbreak or a domestic New World screwworm infestation. It was thankfully caught during a routine inspection of an imported horse arriving from a country south of the Darién Gap. The detection demonstrates that our federal inspection system is working exactly as designed and is an additional biosecurity tool that will protect our livestock industry. To date, there remains no evidence of New World screwworm populations or local infestation anywhere in the United States.  [More]
