Commissioner Sid Miller Recognizes National CACFP Week
Today, Texas Agriculture Commissioner Sid Miller encouraged Texans to show their support for the Child and Adult Care Food Program (CACFP) during National CACFP Week, March 15-21. CACFP is a U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) program that supports good nutrition at adult day care centers, childcare centers, home-based day cares, and afterschool programs. The Texas Department of Agriculture (TDA) administers the program for the Texas CACFP organizations that served more than 200 million balanced meals last year.  [More]

Texas Agriculture Commissioner Sid Miller Receives Threats to His Personal Safety
In the last 24 hours, I have received multiple threats to my personal safety. These threats stem directly from my outspoken condemnation of the Islamification of Texas and the United States, my righteous anger over the horrific terror attack in Austin early Sunday morning that claimed three innocent lives and injured 14 others, and my clear message on social media that Texas will not tolerate future acts of terror on our soil.
