OPEN FOR 2024 WILDFIRE & SEVERE WEATHER RELIEF

The STAR Fund (State of Texas Agriculture Relief Fund) was created by the Texas Department of Agriculture to provide relief for Texas farmers and ranchers in times of disaster using monetary donations from private individuals and organizations.

STAR Fund is a reimbursement program designed to assist farmers, ranchers and agribusiness owners in rebuilding fences, restoring operations and paying for other agricultural disaster relief.

If you’d like to help ag producers impacted by the recent 2024 wildfires or other disasters, consider making a donation to the STAR Fund.

COMMISSIONER MILLER ENCOURAGES ELIGIBLE TEXANS TO APPLY FOR THE STAR FUND PROGRAM
Friday, June 28, 2024, Texas Agriculture Commissioner Sid Miller and the Texas Department of Agriculture (TDA) urge all agriculture producers affected by recent severe weather disasters to apply for the State of Texas Agriculture Relief (STAR) Fund Disaster Assistance Program. This essential program provides financial support to help with clean-up and rebuilding efforts, offering crucial assistance to those on the front lines of these natural disasters. Thursday, May 16, 2024, Today, Texas Agriculture Commissioner Sid Miller proudly announced the 2024 rodeo season marked an outstanding triumph for GO TEXAN partners. Sales across all six events totaled nearly half a million dollars, offering crucial support to small Texas-based businesses. Partners showcased their Texas-made products from January to May at kiosks and GO TEXAN Pavilions in Fort Worth, San Antonio, Houston, the Rio Grande Valley, Austin, and San Angelo.
